Hi, Guthrie Center.

The community can get involved with RAGBRAI in many impactful ways, from sponsorship opportunities that support event logistics, to housing riders in homes, yards, churches, or businesses. Volunteers are needed before, during, and after RAGBRAI to help with planning, setup, hospitality, parking, information booths, and cleanup. Local businesses and individuals can also participate as food or non‑food vendors, offering meals, merchandise, and services that enhance the rider experience while supporting the local economy.

Together, these efforts help create a welcoming and memorable RAGBRAI stop.

Overnight towns are the heart of RAGBRAI, and they only shine because neighbors step up to volunteer. Whether you’re helping direct riders safely through town, welcoming visitors at information booths, setting up campgrounds, serving food, or pitching in with cleanup, every role makes a real difference. Volunteering is a fun, flexible way to show off your community pride, meet people from all over the country, and be part of an unforgettable Iowa tradition. Even a few hours of your time helps create the warm, welcoming experience riders remember long after they roll out of town.
